The Challenge
Following recent years’ successes on small, targeted PPC campaigns for VIP Experiences that had resulted in great return on investment, Feelingpeaky were tasked to run a full season PPC campaign for 2016. A ROI target was set with the goal to drive more focused traffic and improve the conversion rates further and consistently through a 7-month campaign.
The Solution
With our previously ran campaigns analysed it helped us to identify where the strengths and weaknesses were within the campaign. Campaigns and groups were re-structured accordingly. Trials were carried out on branded keywords ensuring cost per click (CPC) was outweighed by return on investment (ROI) on all active phrases. Various advert types were tested to see which drove better click through rates (CTR) – ‘Number of Experiences Available’ adverts vs ‘Gift Based’ adverts vs ‘VIP Animals Available’ adverts. Quality scores were monitored with more budget invested in better performing keywords and low quality keywords optimised. All this combined with regular maintenance and recommendations lead to some fantastic results.
